Carla is beautiful. And it is super duper special to photograph a wedding of my friend. She has been such a great supporter of my business, and my art - thank you lovely - you've been incredibly supportive!
ANYWAY! HER WEDDING!!
So gorgeous. It sounds silly, but I always imagine what people's weddings will look like - and this was exactely how I pictured it. So Carla. So Alastair. So so many tears. Lots and LOTS of open-mouthed photos. Because that's just how Carla lives. Out loud, and usually laughing. :)
You're both such great people, and I know your marriage will be God blessed and stacks of fun. xxx

Al seriously bawled when he saw Carla. Priceless.
The ceremony was at Keiraview Uniting Church in West Wollongong.
Reception at Gledswood (as were the photos). I couldn't convince them to have beach photos. APPARENTLY God didn't make feet for sand. Ha! In the end this worked so much better for their day though!
So cute.
Ok, crazy as it sounds, Carla made and decorated the cake herself. Crazy crazy.

You trustingly asked my daughter, Mercy to hold your camera while you were washing your hands in the ladies room! What trust! :-) The photos are beautiful! We loved the way you weren't very intrusive in the service. We have been to weddings where all you saw was the photographer - getting in the way! :-( So well done!
At times, I was thinking - has she taken enough of that shot? But obviously you are so gifted at getting it right the first time! Thanks for posting some photos. Carla and Alastair will love them we're sure!
